Poinsettia!

Ok, so you're thinking "that's not a poinsettia" and you'd be right.

Every Christmas I see them quaking in their pots as I approach, so this year I decided to spare them a slow hideous death in my hands (well, not so slow actually!) and opted for this Cymbidium orchid instead. They seem a lot more resilient to my tlc, i've even had them flower again!!

I love the alien looking creatures emerging from the centre of the flowers!
