O gracious Light

Dishman pool, outside looking in, 10:30 a.m.

Light is today's DDW-Mollymay challenge.

Yours is the day, O God, yours also the night;
you established the moon and the sun.
You fixed all the boundaries of the earth;
you made both summer and winter. -- Psalm 74

Yesterday was the darkest day of the year.
Today we had an extra minute of daylight.
But when the lights inside are brighter than the light outside
in the middle of the morning,
light is a hope not yet fulfilled.

Darkness is not dark to you, O Lord;
the night is as bright as the day;
darkness and light to you are both alike. -- Psalm 139
