Sunshine after the rain..........

Thats my final nightshift of the year over and done with, time to kick back and relax..........
I was intending to finish work around 2am, but with the rain lashing down and the wind blowing a hooley, i worked on until the weather calmed down, it was pretty much all over and done with by 5am, no wind and just the odd drop of rain.
In the 58 years i've been on the planet i've never seen such severe conditions.
On the home front, the house and panel fencing are all secure, but our beautiful Cotoniaster is currently leaning at around 45 degrees, so it's on with the boot and up the garden we go.
This guy looked pretty in the sunshine this morning, i didn't have the heart to tell him there's more bad weather on the way..........
