Christmas Eve

We went to the crib service at our local church this afternoon because Henry is currently fascinated by baby Jesus (he spent most of Saturday singing happy birthday to him!).

He started off by singing old macdonald loudly through the bible readings and trying to pinch the walking stick of the lady in the pew behind us, then progressed to refusing to get off the little stage by the altar after the children had all gone up to sing away in a manger (and having a tantrum when I had to remove him!).

Finally he tried to pinch the sheep from the nativity scene and ended up being swiftly removed by me after breaking the star off the top of the stable - luckily I managed to press it back on.

He's very excited about Father Christmas coming tonight and has promised to sleep all night in his own bed - we shall see!
