I made this... And I'm proud!

I'm not a natural artist. I am a keen baker but a real 'it tastes better than it looks' type.

However, the girls determined I would make a higher class of Christmas cake this year and we've drilled them so thoroughly in Carol Dweck's mindset principles, that there is no such thing as can't, only still learning, that they saw my lack of ability as no hindrance.

I'm glad they pushed me. I'm pretty proud of this one (hence the deviation from my journal norm).
