Pictorial blethers

Almost ...

Holy Trinity church. Eleven o'clock. There is a gale blowing outside, the rain is battering down and there are ominous drips all over the place. A window in the narthex has blown in. And yet the candles are lit, the musicians are ready - and by the time midnight mass begins there are some sixty people in this beautiful, difficult, inaccessible building and the mass is a joyous celebration.

We are so fortunate, in all sorts of ways.

Happy Christmas, everyone!
