Watchnight Service

The weather made me think twice before walking round to the church for the Watchnight Service. on arrival the welcome was as warm as ever - this included mulled wine, mince pies & other goodies. The glass doors into the sanctuary had become doors and we walked through hanging coats into the world of Narnia. The colour is true making it feel crisp & cold despite the warmth! The carols were sung with great feeling and the message was based round the story of The Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe. There was time to greet friends old & new before heading for home & welcome bed!
