Family makes Christmas

Leading up to my first Christmas alone, the Christmases that have come to pass never felt like Christmas. It felt like everything was about gifts and not about the holiday cheer I felt when I was a child. However, the thing that made everything better was the presence of my family during these events.

We laughed, drank and ate together. It was such a swell time. I honestly miss it.

Italy, please be a little more good to me.
