Christmas Warm Up

Every year we host the Whitecliff Christmas Eve open house. D bakes an enormous gammon ham, which takes centre stage on the table, and people come and go bringing Prosecco and flinty, warming reds to get us all firmly en route to a proper, lovely Christmas. The kids all run riot, whipping themselves into a frenzy of anticipation. I love it. This year was probably our busiest, and here we are as the evening is drawing on and many revellers have left us to nail that last minute wrapping.
