Doth verily settling down...

...and relax. Cooking duties done, Lego helped with and various pressie hopping done to settle upon a cheeky wee Glengoyne, some wiffy cheese and my brand new copy of William Shakespeares Star Wars.

The final stage of bird to plate process worked out brilliantly with some precision alarm setting and timings. It was lush and very satisfying managing to get everything done and served at the exact same time inspite of an under adequate (for the job) kitchen and oven.

The kids are still revelling in it which is great. Bethany came through just after we went to bed, just before midnight, with her stuffed stocking in her hand. 'He's been...' We tried to get her to just go back to bed but now that she knew it was there, it was the same question, every 5 minutes....'Is it time to get up yet?' We just let her empty it and managed to get her back to sleep.

Best line of the day must certainly go to Ewan. After stumbling through to our bedroom around 7 this morning, he asked if it was time to get up. 'Did Santa fill your stocking?' Ooops, he forgot. Set about it, pulling out nuts, mini slinkies, paper fountains, apple, magnets and a lemon. "I Loved all of my stocking but especially MY LEMON."......

The boy likes to eat lemons, I can't expand further on that.

Have a great christmas guys.
