Christmas Day Parkrun

We did the parkrun as a family today.
The meadow was flooded yesterday and had barely cleared today. Some stretches of the 5k course were still six inches deep in freezing cold water! No choice but to run through and get frozen wet feet!
All six of us ran and my parents were co-opted in as marshals- a real family outing.
There were 75 mad crazy parkrunners out this Christmas morning at Longrun Meadow- it was strangely fun!
