Same, but different

DDW's December Challenge Day 26 : Boxing Day

Today HV and I went for a different wander with the dogs. We visited a chambered cairn called Cuween Cairn which lies on the hill behind our house, and having made use of the torch provided for visitors, we wandered over the top of the hill and just enjoyed the scenery and the day.
I don't tend to take landscapes in mono, but gave it a whirl with this one, just for the hell of it really. Its just another shot of (a very distant) Hoy ;)
We both liked this house, which at one time would have had an incredible view, before a bunch of houses were built in the way. Still, the view is good.
