Boxing Day, Edinburgh.

I woke late, had a scrummy breakfast with all the nice left overs in the fridge, and started tidying the house.

I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not. The bedroom and living room are now reasonably presentable, but the kitchen is still a booby-trapped clutter and the spare room floor has disappeared under a surge of disorganised dumped 'stuff'.

So I gave up and walked up Arthur's Seat. I think most of Edinburgh had the same idea. This is the view from close to St Anthony's chapel, just above St Margaret's Mere.

Edinburgh can be a very beautiful city.
