A Day At A Time.

Boxing Day Lunch

Boxing Day is traditionally a sporty day, isn't it?

When I was a boy growing up in the Herefordshire countryside, we had the tenants' shoot to look forward to after Christmas, and sometimes I was allowed to have a gun too.

Today was less dangerous for the local wildlife, as we played some padel in the morning sunshine. Rosie and Wendy played for the first time and soon got the hang of it. After a while we mixed in with a group of friends, who had come along and then we sat in the warm sun and had coffee and a good catch up about the Christmas festivities.

Afterwards we went to Duquesa Port and had lunch outside by the marina. It was soon time for Mum, Rosie and Wendy to leave and Christmas was suddenly over.

But now we are hastily packing our gear in readiness for our trip to the Sierra Nevada tomorrow and three days skiing.

Woo hoo!
