Our house has been a hive of late night visits this week of the alternative kind - the tooth fairy (also known as Una Blossom) and the white bearded man himself. Just waiting for Mr Jack Frost to make an appearance and chase away this grey cloud that December has been.

An absolutely horizontal day today - looking at the gifts with the children, eating leftovers, general pottering and trying to solve 'The Room 2' on the iPad with Sienna - who is actually outwitting me! I do love a good relaxing Boxing Day.

Back to reality tomorrow with a 9am drop off for a child and the arrival of my two stepchildren - life moves back into the rush, rush, of a big family...
