Off to see a flat in South London of all places; actually rather nice and a pretty good area. The usual tests apply:

• is the flat above a chippy/chicken shop/...
• do you feel like you're about to be stabbed when walking around at night?
• is there a tube station close by?

... and that's about it. Why are there so many chicken shops in London? Did a bit of bike maintenance and wandered past a bunch of interesting looking restaurants on the way back to the tube.
