Snowfall

Well, kind of! These snowflakes are part of our traditional family Christmas decorations. Mum crocheted them from a pattern in a magazine in South Africa. Apparently they were to be crocheted in gold or silver to hang on the tree, but she went for snowflakes which hang on the window. I love them, and if I ever get round to it may make some of my own - once I've practised a bit - my crochet isn't bad with thick wool, but this will require somewhat more detailed work!

Thanks for all your kind words and wishes for a speedy recovery, the ankle is improving, though Ranza again had a shore wander with Mum, but I hope to be able to take her myself tomorrow, though probably just along the road.
