Carols by Candlelight

Dropped by the homechurch on a present-dropping errand, because I managed to not remember the grandparents' presents on Thursday. Service was still practically word-for-word what I left three/four years ago, naturally. Saw a bunch of people I've not seen in those years, so had the same conversation over and over updating them on my life and didn't have as much of the awkwards as expected - hurrah! And kept getting mocked for shortness by the kids I used to babysit... standard.

Happy things today include singing carols loudly, listening to my dad read, and a message the meaning of which was probably not known to the messenger but made me grin like billy-o. Happy times.
