Friends (again)

Pud: Would you like the good news or the bad news?

Maud: There's good news?

Pud: Yep.

Maud: And there's some bad news?

Pud: Yep.

Maud: I'll have the bad news, I suppose. Is it very bad?

Pud: Depends.

Maud: Go on then.

Pud: You know that toy langoustine you got on Christmas Eve?

Maud: Lily the langoustine? Yeah?

Pud: It's not a langoustine.

Maud wails!

Maud: And the good news?

Pud: It She doesn't know.

Maud: BUT I do.

Pause

Maud: This changes everything.

Pud: Not for Lily.

Pause

Maud: Is she a shrimp? Sally the shrimp?

Pause

Maud: Is she a prawn? Polly the prawn?

Pause

Maud: Are you telling me everything?

Pause

Pud: I'm afraid Lily isn't seafood at all!

Maud: No! No!

Pud: She's an insect...probably an ant or something.

Maud: But she's pink.

Pud: Yeah, an easy mistake to make... sorry about that.

Maud: Things will never be the same.

Pud: Do you want some more good news?

Maud: Suppose so!

Pud: She's still great to chew, though.

Pause

Maud: Thanks for that...

And here is Lily the Langoustine being treat in the way that she enjoys... Lily the Langoustine takes a beating…

Thoughts on Lily's animal classification, folks?
