Dreich and Windy

I was out in Meadowfield Park, on the east side of Holyrood Park, with my daughter today. She is planning the Sunday of Edinburgh University Orienteering Club's weekend of orienteering in January. The park needed the map updated and this is where I came in handy. We parked, and then used my Garmin GPS watch, to walk along paths and round vegetation boundaries. We are going to update the aerial photos, so Jegor can complete the new larger scale map. No control sites were visited on this expedition, so I gained no knowledge from the experience, just some exercise.

This is the view out over a dreich East Lothian, where North Berwick Law can just be seen on the horizon.
