Old Tin Roof

After the lovely day we had yesterday what a stormy night we had.
Apparently we experienced gusts of 54mph and itwas very wet when Maeve went out for her last walk.
Beachcomber and Maeve were soaked when they came back in and Maeve had to be towelled dried before she went to her bed.
Then we had a power cut. The power was off for about two hours but what was worse, was the pilot light went out on our gas boiler so the heating was off when we woke up this morning. Beachcomber got it lit after a bit of a palaver.Having seen what others are experiencing this was very minor.
Back to work tomorrow so we had a quck trip through to Dundee and on the way home stopped at Broughty Ferry where I treated myself to a new pair of ankle boots, which were in the Mostyn and McKenzie sale, with the last of my Christmas money.
Took Maeve out for a quick walk this afternoon. I don't know if this old tin roof, which is lying on the sand at the fisherman's huts, will have survived this afternoon's stormy weather.
