" I CAN HEAR THE RAIN, FALLING DOWN..."

Greetings and still sending Christmas hugs to you all. Didn't get an opportunity to blip yesterday as we were in Bath visiting our youngest son and our daughter in law.

Today we hosted Adrian our very special son for his Christmas dinner with presents. He was very pleased to see us and waited patiently (for a change) for his dinner. We had another roast Turkey with all the trimmings followed by the rest of the strawberry trifle I had created. Although I had put over 2 glasses of sherry in it - you would never have known!

He really seemed to enjoy opening his presents, jig saws (with large pieces to stop him eating them) a large box of Fox's biscuits, (that was his favourite pressie), some after shave and his fish stained glass that I have blipped before. He recognised it straight away and seemed really pleased. Hopefully they will be able to mount it up high on one of his windows.

We had been observing the weather, one minute sunny and the next complete downpour. It was now 14.45 and we suddenly spotted the rainbow. As soon as the rain stopped, we all bustled out, with Phoebe of course, for a quick trot around the village before the next downpour.

As soon as we got back his Carer said as it was getting late, they had better return to Longrun and all too soon he left.

It was really good to see him today, being very calm and Mr A played him a recording he'd made on his iphone of the choir singing Kwumbiha and he was smiling. That was a special delight as was all the cuddles I received. He didn't speak much, apart from 'biscuit', 'cup of tea' and I always wonder what he is thinking about!

So as this year is rapidly coming to a close - rejoice in the words you can use to express your feelings!! Shout with joy at the beauty all around you and most of all be glad that you can share your love for life with others around you.

And on that note - sending love to you all wherever you are:) x
