Dragons v Blues, its the game of all games for the Dragons. Just like Newport v Cardiff, if you can only win one game in the season this would be it. The home fixture of a long standing love/hate derby.

The blues were just sitting below the Dragons before the match and a win at Rodney Parade would see them sit above the Dragon to finish the year off.

Well what an explosive game it was with the Dragons taking an early lead in the match. Quickly followed by a superbly worked manoeuvre allowing Toby to race to the line for the first try of the match. It stood 10-0 for a while, but the Blues started to put on the pressure bringing it to 10-10 at half time.

The second half was just like the first with the Dragons taking first blood. Even with a try disallowed the Dragon would not let go of the lead even though the Blues tried their best to regain supremacy. Final score Dragons 22 Blues 16. The rematch at the Arms park is on New Years day, i am sure that will be pretty much the same type of game.
