Art Nouveau Lilies

Our river (The Stour), a few meters from our door, has been threatening to flood for the last 3 days, but thanks to the good work of the men from The Environment Agency, who've been opening sluice gates and unblocking the channels, disaster seems to have been averted.
Lots of trees have been toppled by the wind. On my way to work I meant to catch a quick shot of the sluice gates, but I forgot. This evening I went out to capture a blip of the fallen trees but my batteries were both dead!
So, instead, here is an indoor close-up of a lily flower, in its last moments of loveliness. The curves lilies make are languorous and erotic - no wonder artists love them.
