Found: Ice Rink

The kids were so happy to have come across a spot of snow covered ice. They were out sledding and working on a new Fort when my niece found some ice. In the summer it is an area with reads and bushes and pretty wet so no one goes in that area and didn't think of checking for a skating area in there.

It started to snow in the afternoon which made for a pretty beautiful experience. It has turned into a full snow storm with an estimated 15+ cm of snow tonight. The temperature is also suppose to fall (-23C) so I'm not sure if they'll get out on the rink tomorrow.

This shows the two boys and their uncle clearing the ice. It was half as long and half as wide as the other rink, but it was their own private little spot.
