Quiet after the storm

Our guests left us after breakfast - it was great to have a full house for Christmas, but it's also nice when it's back to just being the four of us. We had to pop out to get a replacement kettle (ours blew up half way through Christmas afternoon, typical!) and on our return we found some extra presents that had miraculously (ahem!) appeared under the tree (thank goodness for unobservant children!) Littler G was most taken with a new book about owls.
