Disco

This is a opportunistic time of the year for those who live and work here. Take our friend Disco for example. Most of the year he gets by making tattoos and doing odd jobs that no one else wants. He is free to come to the beach with his dog, play a little volleyball, take it easy. For the two weeks of Christmas, however, he must work every day from early in the morning to late at night delivering food to hoards of hungry beach goers. No time for volleyball, no time for his dog, no time for anything except, as he puts it, "to take a shower and sleep". For all of these hours on the job, he should make enough to survive another couple of months, then he will be back to looking for jobs in between his time at the beach.
