Courting Rock Shags

We arrived in Stanley just after lunch on a glorious sunny day. We had some time to spare so Exodus kindly organised a bus to take us to Gypsy Cove, a couple of miles away, for one final afternoon of wildlife watching. I settled down to watch a pair of Rock Shags courting and a colony of Black-crowned Night Herons. The dazzling white sands and blue waters of the cove looked magnificent framed by vivid yellow Gorse and tussac grass.
