Meeting the locals

So this weekend I was back up Glen Coe this time for the club Christmas meet. Weather forecast was typically terrible - heavy rain and storm force winds. But the winds weren't too strong when we got up, so Bob and I decided to try and climb a wee Corbett down Glen Etive - Stobh Dubh. Saw a few locals while we were driving down the Glen. They were totally non pulsed about us.

Needless to say, we didn't make it all the way to the summit. We were probably just short of half way when we started struggling to stand up and had to turn back. After a short walk up the Glen we had headed over the the ice factor for a climbing session.

Still it's good to at least they and get out to blow the cobwebs away.
