The Hurley Flyer

This is an unusual, although not unique, bit of RNLI kit. The hovercraft is a specialised and important part of the SAR effort in Morecambe Bay where it can scuttle across the mud flats when the tide is out. It is based in Morecambe but came over to Fleetwood today for a bit of Christmas cheer. The Barrow lifeboat also popped over.
