Ice Station festive lighting

We have been surprised a few times over the last couple of weeks that the lights stayed on in these high winds. So we weren't too surprised when we got up this morning to discover the power had been off since about 3am. Thank goodness for the wood burning stove! So we looked out the lanterns, head torches, batteries etc and waited. Fortunately we are back on grid something like 13 hours later. A long way from the previous record...
