Ring on a string

20 of the family got together today to celebrate dad's 90th birthday. It was great to see so many of us together - shame my camera ran out of battery before we got around to taking a group shot. Typical!

The highlight of the day, for some, was the game of "ring on a string" - an old favourite that we used to play as children, and also when our own children were growing up. The next generation, however, didn't seem awfully interested in such an old-fashioned game!
