Weatherby Services: The Return

The long slog back to Kent from Edinburgh today, calling in at the same services as we did on the way up. A very pleasant and uneventful journey in sunshine and dry conditions. So glad we didn't make the journey yesterday.

While the East Coast route may not be the quickest route to Scotland it is the shortest and the views north of Newcastle are superb. They just need to get on and dual the 60 miles or so single carriageway north of Morpeth. There seems to be a quite vigorous campaign to dual this stretch of the A1

Now back home, quick tea of pizza and salad and an early night as I'm back on the railway tomorrow.
