Tenerife 12

Up early today to drive to Mt Teide and go up in the cable car.
The car park is at 2356 m above sea level, and the upper station is at 3555 m.
Definitely the highest I have ever been on land, and I really noticed the lack of oxygen - heavy legs when trying to climb a short distance.
The walk to the top was closed because of snow and loose ice sheets, but this was fine!
Just after we came down, the clouds rolled in and covered everything, and it has been raining for the first time since we got here.
