Zipper

Zipper is a young roadrunner from this fall's nest. He is a twin to Kiko. He was sitting on my wall like in a trance. I could see the hawk not far away and knew he could be in trouble. I did not make any motion but just photographed him and walked back. He finally looked at me and decided to find a hiding place. Zipper and Kiko come around several times a day for a snack of ground meat.
