I'm really thankful to Ambler1 for giving me the the 'heads up' on photographer Olivia Parker and I've spent a happy couple of hours on her website here...

It's really got me in the mood for some still life so I had a go this morning as the light coming into our front room is great. I started with just the salt and pepper pot by themselves but they some how felt 'alone'. adding the colour and texture of the fruit made the picture feel more like a family...
