Hebridean Wren

I have seen this little fellow a few times when I am out walking down at the shore. S/he hides in the holes in a dry stane dyke and peeks out at me, but normally I can't get close enough for a shot. I caught a flash of movement among the staff (seaweed) and took a few shpts - this was the best of them - still room for improvement! The Hebridean sub-species of Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) is slightly larger and darker than its mainland cousin, but just as alert!
