Normal service ..

..is resumed with a strenuous walk, this time with friend and dog, right to the top of the Puck's Glen path in the gorge and back down the gentler track to the forest road. This pic comes from halfway down, where at the moment the forest opens out and allows a view of the Glen Massan hills. We were remarking that by the time we're too old to walk up there it will all look quite different - a careful look will reveal the newly-planted trees in the hollow below the path.

I had several photos that I might have blipped today - a couple of nice ones of the church, and one of a spectacular waterfall in Puck's Glen. I shall put them on Flickr instead - soon.
