DDW's December Challenge Day 29 : Wood

This morning was one of those beautiful, still, clear, crisp mornings that Orkney rewards us with from time to time and HV and I made the most of it by taking the dogs out early. A dive around in the woods then into the open country beyond where we had seen a bit of a scrapyard the last time we passed. There are old vehicles being consumed by rust and wooden trailers slowly rotting away. Its a paradise for anyone wanting to take a few really textural pics, and the surrounding landscape is stunning. So we both took some pics and have only just got around to looking at them.
