We went shopping today and spent more money I can remember having spent in ages on one go.

Well, in half a year anyway; the diving gear was definitely more expensive.

Anyway, we got a new TV receiver, a red (yes, red!) blender to replace the old one that I got for Christmas some 10+ years ago, and a mixer with lots of accessories for chopping and grating.

Everything was discounted so I would say it was a bargain, even if we did end up spending quite an amount.
