Pointless

Testing out a set of Meike automatic extension tubes for the Oly. Ordered from Amazon on the 18th Dec and delivered from Hong Kong nine days later.

The last time I had a set of ext tubes, they were for a Zenit E back in 1974. No automatic exposure or focus in those days. No 'chimping' either to check that focus had been accurate. Exposure had to be calculated with, what seemed like, a complicated formula for each 0f the 7(?) combinations.

I remember I was so pleased when I bought a Sinclair scientific programmable calculator and wrote a program to work out the exposure compensation for different lens/tube combinations.

It all seems so pointless now. Changed days!
