Towards Wanaka!

You wouldn't believe the rain we had in the morning! Nearly couldn't get from Haast towards Wanaka as a landslide had happened on the pass and the road was closed first. We could drive on after a little wait and watch all those massive waterfalls beside the road. Impressive weather!
On the way we stopped at our old friend Boundary Creek where we had stayed a happy night two years ago - the photo was taken there.

Just before Wanaka we turned around and went back to lake Hawea to stay the night there. A Cycling Granny was right when she wrote it's madly busy in Wanaka right now!
