Daytrips and Daysnips

Imber Village

Imber Village is on Salisbury Plain - it was evacuated, by order of the MoD, in 1943 for training purposes during WW2 - giving the residents 47 days to move out!
It remains a military training area, which is opened up to the public certain days of the year. The church is still used for services. A really interesting place to have a look around.
