Sewing day

Here is a blip of my friend Vicky's 1920's co-operative wholesale sewing machine which she got for her birthday in November. Vicky is a very crafty person and can turn her hands to anything from embroidery to knitting to quilting to sewing etc. I reckon she should on the next series of the 'Great British Sewing Bee', starring the ever so smart Patrick Grant and the ever so lovely May Martin. She is also my chief button sewer, as I don't understand the theory of needle and thread!

I was over visiting Vicky and her hubby, Chris, with our friend Hana, and we had a lovely afternoon of homemade cake while catching up on the news before we all meet up again next week at work.
