Think How Many Horses!

Lots of rain and wind today, but also some bright bursts of sunshine. Only got out for a walk late on, along the canal at Curdworth, on way to visit my Mum in the Home.

We find it impressive to think how many ropes must have been pulled along here to make marks this deep in IRON, which was presumably put here to protect the bridge itself.

Lovely to have visitors, but also lovely NOT to have any for one day - two more arriving tomorrow.
