The Apple Tree.

This is a rather bleak picture of our Bramley Apple Tree taken on a bleak new years day. I planted this tree about eight years ago and it is extremely temperamental. Three years ago we had a good crop of fruit then the following year, nothing! Last year a lot of little apples appeared but most of them dropped off before reaching maturity, we got about a dozen edible apples. It needs a good pruning and I am not sure of how to do this properly. Pictures of the tree and its progress will appear from time to time throughout 2014. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.
