The Photo Before

This picture was taken just before I decided to hurl myself off my bike, downhill, going about 35mph. The result was two broken vertebrae, 2.5 weeks in 2 Greek hospitals, 14 screws in my back and and one ultimately unreal experience.

The helmet I was wearing cracked in half and the bike landed about 10 feet from me. I definitely learned how important a helmet is, as had I not been wearing it, I might not be typing this right now.
