She is getting old. She has skin problems, joint problems, and mild cataracts. She can no longer chase the balls, or runs all-out when let off the leash. And yet she remains herself, guarding little Man whenever he is around, coming to the guest bedroom to sleep near him whenever we visit Baba Hania and Dziadek Andrzej. Forever the guardian of the family's pup.
