Crochet Gladiator Helmet
From a pattern by Cathyren, available from http://www.ravelry.com/stores/cathy-ren-designs, using DK yarn and 4.5mm crochet hook. Time takes - approx 4 hours.
This was a special request from No.3 son, to keep his ears warm whilst looking totally funky. A really simple make, once you have waded through the pattern for sizes from 6month baby to large adult - highlighter pen essential!
