A kaleidoscope of cattle:

In the "old" days it was illegal to bring any cow other that a "Guernsey" into the island as there were fears that the true Guernsey would be diluted or lost.
I think that is still the rule but obviously you can bring in non breeding cattle and I think these are probably steers.
Mrs BR spied them in a field and thought they are very sweet...they are currently about the size of a Shetland pony and very keen to interact with humans....they approached as soon as she looked over their gate!
